Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Inspection
Regularly inspect the spray arm and filters to ensure they are not clogged with food particles. Remove food particles from the holes in the spray arm. If necessary, disassemble the spray arm by turning the nut anticlockwise and clean the holes thoroughly.
Clean Filters
Clean the dishwasher's microfilter and flat filter regularly. To do this, open the door, remove the basket, and take out the filters at the bottom of the appliance. Clean them under running water and reassemble by turning the microfilter clockwise to lock.
Use of Dishwasher Salt
Ensure the salt container is filled to prevent limescale buildup. This is crucial for areas with hard water. Make sure the salt container cap is closed correctly to avoid leakage.
Rinse Aid Dosage
Set the rinse aid dosage to the appropriate level to prevent water droplets and limescale on dishes. Adjust the dosage as necessary by turning the arrow clockwise to increase if needed.
Detergent Use
Use the correct amount of detergent for each load to prevent unsatisfactory washing results. Be conscious of the detergent type, as some tablets may not dissolve well in short washing programs.
